It is hereby declared and decreed, that the purpose of this organization, Rhode Island Police Officers Emerald Society, Inc. is:

To promote and uphold loyalty to the Government of the United States of America and the State of Rhode Island.

To promote friendship and fraternalism among its members.

To promote Irish history and culture among it's members.

To promote and assist in the genealogical research to it's members.

To promote education and educational opportunities amount it's members and their families.

To promote awareness to the contribution made to law enforcement in America by Irish immigrants and their descendants.

To promote financial aid to members and their families who are in dire need, and any charitable cause deemed appropriate by it's membership according to the laws of the United States of America.
